The year 2017 marks the milestone 50th year since the eventful day on August 8th, 1967 when the Bangkok Declaration was signed to establish the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The formation of ASEAN has paved the way for the transformation of 10 Southeast Asian countries into the dynamic and prosperous grouping of ASEAN today.

To commemorate the historic golden anniversary of ASEAN, ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Malaysia is proud to organise the ASEAN@50 Commemorative Dinner which will be held on Friday, 4th August 2017.

The ASEAN@50 Commemorative Dinner will be graced by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak.

Guests will come from across ASEAN, representing the private and public sector from government, business, the diplomatic corps as well as the youth.

ASEAN-BAC Malaysia will also present the ASEAN@50 Achievement Awards to 10 outstanding Malaysian-based companies & individuals who have excelled and contributed to the development of ASEAN.
