The 22nd Joint Business Councils – ASEAN-BAC Meeting, 18 August

ASEAN-BAC Malaysia’s Executive Director Ms Jukhee Hong, was invited to speak on “ASEAN as the Epicentrum of Growth: Opportunities and Challenges”. The event was hosted by His Excellency Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia Hermono, who gave the opening remarks, fellow speaker Mr Yose Rizal Damuri, Executive Director of Centre of Strategic and International Studies Jakarta, and attended by other business representatives and think tanks.

The event highlighted the sub-theme: ASEAN as the Epicentrum of Growth and discuss ways and means to strengthen ASEAN’s role as driver of global growth and epicentrum of sustainable economic growth in the Indo-Pacific region.
