Opening Day of ABIS, 3 Sept

The first day of the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS) 2023 opened with a speech by ASEAN-BAC 2023 Chairman Arsjad Rasjid who emphasised ASEAN Centrality through innovation and inclusivity.

According to him, ASEAN should focus on restructuring strategic geopolitical positions, reviewing economic resilience across sectors, and reshaping engagements with major partners.

Mr. Arsjad also highlighted the importance of incorporating values into economic growth in alignment with the principles of People, Prosperity, People, Planet, and Partnership.
