ABAC MY met with the Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change (NRECC)

Tan Sri Nazir Razak, Chairman of ASEAN-BAC Malaysia met with the Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change (NRECC), Yang Berhormat Tuan Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad to align the sustainability agenda in preparation for Malaysia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025.

The meeting focused on aligning strategies for the Chairmanship Year with a strong emphasis on sustainability initiatives, integrating plans within the context of the 2045 ASEAN Blueprint while prioritising environmental conservation and climate resilience. Discussions also revolved around fostering collaborative efforts between NRECC and ASEAN-BAC Malaysia to advance sustainable practices and address pressing environmental challenges during the Chairmanship in 2025.
