99th ASEAN-BAC Meeting and 23rd Joint Business Councils

ASEAN-BAC Malaysia Chairman Tan Sri Nazir Razak, who is also the new Co Chair of ASEAN-BAC 2024, together with Executive Director Ms Jukhee Hong attended the 99th ASEAN-BAC Meeting, the Chairmanship Handover from Indonesia to Laos, as well as the 23rd Joint Business Councils (JBCs) – ASEAN-BAC Meeting in Luang Prabang, Laos. The meeting was chaired by the Chair of ASEAN-BAC 2024 and ASEAN-BAC Laos Mr Oudet Souvannavong.

The meeting formally introduced the theme of ASEAN-BAC Laos 2024 Chairmanship “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience”, while supporting its government’s agenda of (i) Integrating and connecting economies, (ii) Forging an inclusive and sustainable future, and (iii) Transforming for digital future.
