Discussion with Deputy Trade Commissioner of Southeast Asia from Singapore Ms Rhiannon Harries

ASEAN-BAC Malaysia’s Executive Director, Jukhee Hong held a dynamic discussion with Ms Rhiannon Harries, Deputy Trade Commissioner for Southeast Asia from Singapore and Mr Richard Colley, Director of Trade and Investment of the British High Commission in Malaysia recently. The meeting explored potential cooperation and exciting initiatives in anticipation of ASEAN’s Chairmanship next year, focusing on ramping up DEI and digitalisation efforts across ASEAN businesses.

This dialogue reflects the UK’s commitment to deepening economic relations with ASEAN, as it remains a top 10 investor and became ASEAN’s dialogue partner in 2021.
