The ACMF Deputies Meeting on 05 September 2024

ASEAN-BAC Malaysia chairman Tan Sri Nazir Razak was invited to present the proposal of the ASEAN IPO prospectus to boost cross-border capital raising at the recent ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) Deputies Meeting in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR.

According to a report by Deloitte, ASEAN’s IPO market in the first half of 2024 recorded 67 IPOs, raising US$1.4 billion in proceeds with a total market capitalization of US$5.8 billion. This marks a decline compared to the first half of 2023, which saw 85 IPOs, US$3.4 billion in proceeds, and a market capitalization of US$20.1 billion.
