Plenary Session 1: ASEAN’s path into the Intelligent Age (Tan Sri Nazir Razak)

Chairman Tan Sri Nazir Razak participated in the first Plenary session of ABIS 2024, focusing on the topic of “From ASEAN to ASEAN: Enhancing Intra-Regional Trade and Investment”, moderated by Prof. Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairmen, World Economic Forum (WEF).

The session focused on Artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies that are crucial in transitioning ASEAN from the industrial era to the intelligent age, to maintain its competitiveness and ensure interoperability among member states. The panel discussed strategies for leveraging AI and other technologies to drive economic growth, foster innovation, and build a sustainable, inclusive digital economy.
