Roadshow to the US (1st day)

ASEAN-BAC Malaysia Chairmanship roadshows brought the team to the US, starting with the first stop in Washington D.C., where our Chairman, Tan Sri Nazir Razak, and Executive Director, Jukhee Hong, embarked on a series of high-level engagements to advance key priorities for the ASEAN-BAC Chairmanship Year 2025.

Upon arrival, the delegation met with Syed Faizal, MITI Minister of Economics, followed by a packed schedule the next day, including meetings with Ambassador Steve Lang from the Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy; Pamela Phan, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Asia; and Sarah Ellerman, Assistant USTR for Southeast Asia & Pacific and SEOM Lead. The delegation also toured the Decision Theatre and participated in the US-ASEAN Business Roundtable, hosted by the US-ASEAN Centre.

With the Washington DC leg of the roadshow successfully completed, the delegation continued to New York City, building on the momentum to further advance ASEAN-BAC’s initiatives on the global stage.
