Tree Planting Ceremony and Sunset Reception

On the afternoon of 25 May, ASEAN-BAC Malaysia marked its 2025 Chairmanship year with a Tree Planting Ceremony. Chairman Tan Sri Nazir Razak, together with Co-Chairs Oudet Souvannavong and Joey Concepcion, planted a pine tree to symbolise unity and growth across the ASEAN region.

After the ceremony, all Council Members travelled from Genting to EQ Kuala Lumpur for a sunset reception. Guests were treated to a beautiful sunset—an ideal moment to connect, reflect, and prepare for the ASEAN Summit.
