ASEAN-GCC-China CEO Roundtable @ Grand Ballroom

The week continued with the ASEAN-GCC-China CEO Roundtable, where policymakers and business leaders explored new opportunities within the ASEAN–GCC–China Growth Corridor.

Discussions centred around three key themes:

1. Financing the Growth Corridor

2. AI & Digital Infrastructure

3. Food Security & the Halal Economy

Opening remarks were delivered by Tan Sri Nazir Razak. Deputy MITI Minister YB Liew Chin Tong gave his opening address and this was followed by Tan Sri Andrew Sheng, former central banker and financial regulator in Asia, who shared valuable insights on navigating today’s rapidly shifting global landscape.

With a combined GDP of USD 24.1 trillion, the ASEAN–GCC–China Growth Corridor holds immense potential to drive sustainable, inclusive growth in the region.
