Regional Socialisation of AEC Strategic Plan 2026 – 2030

Executive Director Jukhee Hong was invited as a panel speaker at the Regional Socialisation of AEC Strategic Plan 2026 – 2030. Moderated by Ms. Arifah Sharifuddin, Director of Operations, Tech for Good Institute (TFGI), the panel session focused on “The 2030: Horizon – Redefining Economic Integration and Resilience”.

She opined that the 5-year cycle of the Strategic Plan is a timely response to the uncertain trade environment confronting businesses today. The strategic measures adopted are in line with many of the ASEAN-BAC Malaysia priorities 2025. However, more needs to be done in the 3 areas: Standardisation, Seamlessness and Scale to materialise the vision of a single market and production base.
