Roadshow to Russia (Day 3)

The Roadshow continued on the third and final day, where ASEAN-BAC Malaysia continued its engagement with key Russian stakeholders through a series of strategic meetings and dialogues. 

Chairman Tan Sri Nazir Razak also delivered opening remarks at the International Cooperation Centre, where he highlighted Malaysia’s active role in the ASEAN Chairmanship 2025 and ASEAN-BAC’s commitment to advancing impactful cooperation projects. He identified key priorities for business collaboration with foreign partners, including the digital economy, sustainable development, and regional supply chain integration. He also expressed optimism about strengthening Malaysia-Russia economic ties, noting significant opportunities for partnership in technology, trade, and investment.

The day then concluded with participation in a high-level plenary session alongside state leaders, including President of Russia Vladimir Putin; President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto; National Security Advisor, Commander of the Royal Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa; Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Ding Xuexiang; and Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa Paul Mashatile.
