The @ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) and the @Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth are proud to announce a landmark partnership to advance sustainable and inclusive economic growth across the ASEAN region.

This 3-year collaboration is formalised by Tan Sri Nazir Razak, Chairman of ASEAN-BAC 2025 and Jon Huntsman, Vice Chairman & President, Strategic Growth at @Mastercard. A key highlight of this partnership is the launch of the inaugural Mastercard ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit (#AIGS25), which will be held in Kuala Lumpur on 24 October, leading up to the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS) 2025. The AIGS is the first of three annual convenings designed to bring together regional and global leaders to foster innovation and collaboration for the benefit of everyone in the region.

As stated by Tan Sri Nazir Razak, “This partnership with Mastercard sets the stage for a long-term platform to advance inclusive economic growth in ASEAN.”

The collaboration will focus on critical areas such as:

• Supporting the growth of MSMEs, which form the backbone of ASEAN’s economy.

• Strengthening cybersecurity protections for businesses and consumers.

• Accelerating the adoption of digital payments to enhance economic access.
