EU-ASEAN Business Summit

As part of the EU-ASEAN Business Summit 2025, Executive Director Jukhee Hong was invited to join a distinguished panel to discuss how digital innovation is transforming jobs, advancing sustainability, and driving growth across ASEAN.

She shared insights on how AI and digital technology are critical to ASEAN businesses as it enhances their capacity to scale and cost reduction in business operations. But more importantly, AI should be applied to overcome regional trade fragmentation and certain customs procedures. Other panellists included Minister of Digital YB Gobind Singh Deo, Ms Claudia Chanan, and Mr Steven Chan (Prudential), with Dr Deborah Elms of the Hinrich Foundation as moderator.
