Thailand Aims To Advance Greener Economy, Become Regional Hub For Food Security – Suphajee

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 (Bernama) — Thailand aims to promote a greener economy and position itself as a regional hub for food security in the future, according to its Minister of Commerce Suphajee Suthumpun.

She said the Thai government has urged the private sector to focus on this key industry, which is pivotal towards building a more sustainable future for the country amid climate and geopolitical uncertainties.

“I believe that Thailand is actually more than ready, because we are actually a provider in terms of food and agricultural products, and we’re going to add more green layers into our agricultural industry.
