7th ABMC Meeting

We convened our 7th ASEAN-BAC Malaysia Circle (ABMC) Meeting, chaired by Tan Sri Nazir Razak. The meeting was attended by the senior representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), and the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), as well as fellow ABMC Members and knowledge partners. 

During this session, Chairman Tan Sri Nazir acknowledged the new member of ABMC, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the sponsors for the ASEAN-BAC Malaysia Chairmanship year, details of our flagship events, the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS) and ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) in October 2025.

Each working group also presented updates on the progress of their initiatives, showcasing key milestones achieved and outlining plans to further advance ASEAN-BAC Malaysia’s priorities for the Chairmanship Year.

We are making significant progress in our Chairmanship Year and are proud of the progress we’ve achieved so far. As we prepare to launch our initiatives, we look forward to driving a positive impact and delivering meaningful benefits to ASEAN’s businesses, communities, and economies.
