Malaysia Launches AI Malaysia To Spearhead Artificial Intelligent Driven Growth

Malaysia has officially launched AI Malaysia (AIM), a new platform designed to foster collaboration between businesses and advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) both domestically and internationally. The initiative, spearheaded by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Malaysia in partnership with AI Malaysia (AIM), aims to accelerate innovation and bolster Malaysia’s digital competitiveness within the region.

“Malaysia’s digital ambition is grounded in inclusive growth, ethical innovation, and regional leadership,” stated Minister Gobind Singh Deo. “Through AIM, we are laying the foundation for stronger public-private-academic collaboration, empowering our industries and institutions to unlock real economic value from AI and build future-ready capabilities.”

The launch of AIM signifies Malaysia’s growing commitment to aligning policy, industry, and research to advance national AI readiness.
