ASEAN Cardon Credits Initiative Meeting with Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed and Mr Lim Chern Yuan

ASEAN-BAC Malaysia convened a meeting to discuss potential carbon credit initiatives in ASEAN. The meeting was attended by Council Member Mr Lim Chern Yuan, who is also the Group CEO of Yinson Holdings Berhad and Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Chair of ASEAN-BAC Malaysia B2B Connect Initiative (BCI) – Agriculture, ASEAN-BAC Malaysia’s Executive Director Ms. Jukhee Hong, Dr Renard Siew, Head of Corporate Sustainability of Yinson Holdings Berhad and Datuk Tan Teow Choon, Managing Director of Viva Global Sdn Bhd. The meeting discussed gaps in the current voluntary carbon markets in ASEAN and how the private sector can work with the public sector in bridging the gaps.
