Courtesy Meeting with Bursa Malaysia

ASEAN-BAC Malaysia held a courtesy meeting with Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar, Chairman of Bursa Malaysia. The meeting was chaired by ASEAN-BAC Malaysia’s Chairman Tan Sri Nazir Razak, and attended by members of the ASEAN-BAC Malaysia Circle (ABMC), as well as representatives from Bursa Malaysia, to align the priorities of the Malaysian Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025. Tan Sri Nazir Razak outlined ASEAN-BAC Malaysia’s various efforts, proposed ideas for the 2025 Legacy Projects, and explored the future of ASEAN capital markets. The meeting was also well attended by ASEAN-BAC Malaysia’s Council Member, Mr Lim Chern Yuan, and Executive Director of ASEAN-BAC Malaysia, Ms Jukhee Hong together with the ABMC members: Ambank, Axiata Group Berhad, Carsome, CIMB Bank Berhad, Dagang NeXchange Berhad, GDEX Berhad, Ikhlas Capital, Kuala Lumpur Kepong (KLK) Berhad, MyEG Services Berhad, RHL Ventures Sdn Bhd, Silverlake Axis Sdn Bhd, Sime Darby Plantation, Taylor’s Education Sdn Bhd, Yinson Holdings Berhad, and YTL Power International BerhadBMC members who participated at the business forum were Axiata, CIMB, GDex, MyEG, RHL, Silverlake, and Sime Darby Plantation.
