ASEAN Carbon Market Meeting with Deputy Sec-Gen (Development) of the MNRES YBhg Nor Hayati Awang

ASEAN-BAC Malaysia continues its advocacy engagement on the policy environment needed in the pursuit of an ASEAN carbon market with the Deputy Secretary General (Development) of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (MNRES) Ybhg. Datuk Nor Yahati Binti Awang and representatives early this week.

Represented by Executive Director Ms Jukhee Hong, along with Yinson Holdings’ Group Head of Corporate Sustainability Dr Renard Siew Yung Jhien, and Dr. Wei-nee Chen, Head of Carbon Market, Group Sustainability of Bursa Malaysia, the meeting exchanged views on the aspirations and the various national- and regional- developments surrounding carbon credit supply and standards.
