Dr Ong Kian Ming
Professor Dr. Ong Kian-Ming is tjhe Pro Vice Chancellor of external engagement at Taylor's University. He was a former two-term Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for International Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Duke University, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE).

This initiative focuses on enhancing the exchange of students, and the movement of graduates, interns and business personnel across ASEAN, fostering greater collaboration, learning opportunities, and greater flexibility in working throughout the region, particularly in providing relevant visas. By enhancing the mobility of highly-skilled talent at various stages of development, this initiative strives to build a dynamic and resilient workforce that drives innovation and sustainable growth across ASEAN.
