MALAYSIA SCHOLARS ON KOREA (MASK) 2024

Speaking at the recent Malaysia Scholars on Korea (MASK) on ‘Elevating Malaysia-South Korea ties’, Ms. Jukhee Hong, Executive Director of ASEAN-BAC Malaysia spoke on a panel discussing the prevailing geoeconomic conditions due to trade tensions, and how ASEAN must uphold ASEAN centrality and the importance of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) to preserve ASEAN’s economic growth trajectory.

Jukhee further calls for dialogues between the business community and track 2 diplomatic community for mutual benefits and understanding, towards having better informed trade-sensitive foreign affairs policies.

The event was organised by Institute of Strategic & International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea (ROK) on Tuesday, 29 Oct 2024.
