ASEAN-BAC Malaysia Chairman Tan Sri Nazir Razak, Executive Director Ms Jukhee Hong, together with the ABMC members had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Hasan to align the priorities for the Malaysian Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025.<\/p>\n

The discussion centred on ASEAN-BAC’s role in facilitating business engagements and supporting ASEAN’s chairmanship efforts. Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad underscored the importance of prioritising substance over formalities in ASEAN initiatives, stressing the need for tangible outcomes and meaningful contributions from all stakeholders involved in ASEAN activities.<\/p>\n

The meeting was also attended by representatives from the ASEAN-Malaysia National Secretariat (AMNS) and the ASEAN Logistics Secretariat (SILA) under MOFA, as well as ABMC Members: AmBank Group, Axiata, CIMB, Khazanah Nasional Berhad, MY E.G. Services Berhad (MYEG), National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM), RHL Ventures, Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd, TIME dotCom Berhad and Yinson Holdings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
